Im looking to put a single turbo system on my 5.7L Vortech 350 in my 97 Silverado. I was wondering how much the stock 350 can handle boost wise, and what i need to do for a safe setup. I found part of a turbo setup on ebay that is used, ill provide a picture. I just want to know what all i need and what i need to do while running a turbo like higher pump gas 91 or 93? I know a little about turbo systems and how they work but im not totally postive on everything that needs to be done, like if i got that kit from this guy on ebay i know id need all the cold pipes, i know that the turbo might have to be rebuild do to some shaft play but he says that it works fine. This is something i have been wanting to do for some time now and i have the money to do it, i just dont wanna pay someone to do it or buy a 4000 dollar kit, i wanna be able to do the project myself to save tons of money yet still learn alot. Anybody know alot about this kinda of system help would really be great.
