  ok guys
this is one of those terminal dumbass questions...
i have a '91 4.3/ 700r4 out of an astro van, that i dropped in my '88 s-10 blazer. i already swapped the trans tailshafts ( the truck originally had a 2.8 in it)  eng/trans are in, wiring is done, plumbing for trans cooler, and eng oil coller/filter is done.  somewhere along the line, i pulled the dist cap and wires offa this thing, and have no idea what the firing order/ cyl position is. this is my 1st 6 cylinder anything and i'm just looking for  some help before i have to break down and buy a friggin manual for this creation too.
thanks  in advance..

If you have any questions like what to torque head bolts or firing orders, you can usually call autozone or advance auto parts if you have one in your area and they can print off a little peice of paper that will show it to you like the books.

i know it's been a loooooooooooong time since i posted this, but i did get it fired up and running. it's been a long summer, and finally got to take the little beast out wheeling. my goal was to get out and not have anything that i fabricated/ engineered to break, fall off, or generally be a complete pain. well everything that i didnt do did break, including the rear end spider gears, drivers side CV shaft and a badly rusted and bent passenger upper control arm. the rear end has since been welded, the shaft replaced with a new one and the control arm replaced with a junkyard special.
