Buying parts for someone else is like buying a new outfit for your wife.  If you buy one that fits, she gets POd 'cause the size is so big.  If you get what she thinks she wants, she gets POd 'cause it won't fit and now she can't wear it and either feels bad about gaining a few pounds or feels bad that she can't wear it and feels like she may be dissing you.  Either way, you're bound to be wrong.

Buy either a gift certificate, a fixed amount Visa or MasterCard, or credit on Ebay.  That way, they get to get exactly what THEY want - IMHO!
