Hey guys, I have an 07 suburban LTZ and wanted to post this question over here as I thought it would get an answered reply faster. I have the navigation and rear seat enterainment system in my truck and was told that I can play DVD's on the nav screen when the truck is in drive? I was told there is a wire on the back of the nav/radio that I would need to cut? Can anyone confirm or point me in the right direction?

OK, instead of reading threw all the pages I'll just keep updating the information in this first post. This makes it a lot easier on both of us. Whenever you log on and want to check for any new info, just look here.

List of members that want the GM Lockpick below

03/18/2007
We are there. We have 11 members that want in. More are welcome to add there name to this list as 1 or 2 may drop out at the last minute. I'll get more information on Monday the 19 and post all the info here.

I'll double check, but I think if we get 20 that want a GM Lockpick the price will drop to $175.00 from $189.00 for the 10?

I just got off the phone with Coastal and they are going to call me back with pricing. The only units available right now are the GM Super Lockpick and the GM GEN3. The OnStar Lockpick is not availabile at this time. When they call me back I'll see what there plans are for making more of the OnStar unit itself?
So, we need to see what model we are going with, the Super or the GEN3? I asked them to give me pricing for both of them. They will also give me pricing for shipping to one address and shipping all 20 to an individual address. Lets see the pricing before me make up our minds witch route we want to go?

OK, I just got off the phone with Kelley from Coastal. She should have the group buy up sometime today or tomorrow the 21st.

We are not going to have the dealer price option as it is very complicated. We will have an individual group buy as this will be the best for all of us.

The GM Lockpick GEN3 will be $219.00 plus shipping.

The GM Super Lockpick will be $239.00 plus shipping,

Your best bet is probably to go with the Super Lockpick as it's not that much more.

Log onto there site.

1. Put the item in the shopping cart.

2. Hit the secure checkout button

3. At the login page dealer code enter "chevyforum" (lower case) and hit the register button.

4. As your user name, enter your screen name on this forum and your own password.

5. Then just proceed like you would with anyother order, the discount should be applied and visible in your cart.

Can be done but more involved an expensive than cutting a wire.

I assure you that there is no "cheap way" or wire that you can cut that will accomplish this, but I'm always willing to learn new tricks from the experts.

I wonder if 10 guys from this forum would get in on a group buy from the company that sells the Lockpick? If 10 guys want in, I think he will do them for $189.00 each?

If we can get 8 more guys in this listing I'll email him and see if he will work the deal out? I'll only email him then as most of the time when guys do a group buy, the seller will have a time limit. If he says yes and tells us we have two weeks to come up with 10 and we don't, then were out of luck. If we have 10 ready, then will make him stand up to his offer.

Your Suburban is just a longer Tahoe. In your case, you might say the Tahoe is a short suburban. They share 95% of the same parts. So posting here as well is a great idea since there is 100X the traffic here.  Good luck on your group buy.
