I have an 89 caprice 305 throttle body. it runs like its only firing on 6 cylinders when its cold and sometimes even when its warmed up. The problem was intermittent but it gradually got worse and now its  hard to even get it started. I've checked the timing, replaced fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor, ignition moduel, temp sensor, thermostat, repaired fuel pump wiring, and a couple other things and none of this helped. I think I have it narrowed down to something with the emmisions because it was running fine for about 2 days untill i removed the gas cap with it running. ( wich I've allways done with this car)... it stalled and runs like crap since. i replaced the gas tank recently and i'm wondering if a pinched return line or something can cause this? also the canaster on my wheelwell feels heavy like its full of ice or something. I'm lost?
