Wow awesome conversion....... I hope to do this very soon. I guess you would have to remove them for any warranty work from your dealer. They would be quick to void any warranty.

I leave mine in and have had no issues. I haven't had any warranty work done on the lights/harness area though. They would have to establish that your mods caused or contributed to the problem to void the warranty.

You guys are going to like this: I took my truck in to the dealer for an oil change (1st one is free) and I told them that my "Service Airbag" warning came up on the DIC some time ago (only once) and never came up again. He asked me, "Gee did that error appear after you converted the taillights?" And I told him the conversion was on for over a month before that error message popped up. When I got the truck back, they admitted there was TSB regarding that errant message and they updated the computer.

So... After having this done for several months , I noticed the other day when I had a white car behind me, when my brakes are applied my turn signal flashes opposite from my mirror signal, front signal and dash signal, but when the brake is off it flashes the same as all of them...? Does anyones else do this?

Does anyones else do this? They all do this as it is the way the converter operates & was noted in the original instructions: "Because of the way the converter operates, you may notice that when you have your turn signal and stop lights on at the same time, the turn signals in the side view mirror and taillight alternate. The reason for this is that when the converter is passing through the +12v for the solid on stop signal, when it detects a +12v on the turn signal wire what it does is turns off the stop pass through for the duration of the turn signal. This enables the combined light to flash instead of being on steady because without the converter the stop would override the turn and the light would remain on." If you want the signals to behave exactly like the Esky, I believe there is a way, but it is not "Plug & Play" like the converter method. What you would need to do would be to take off the stop/turn signal from the 7 wire trailer harness feed for the left & right sides & route it direct to the LED taillights - that should provide an integrated stop/turn signal. You would then remove the converters & hardwire everything else to the taillight EXCEPT the stop & turn signals from the vehicle harness - these you would need to leave connected to the load resistors to avoid a "light out" warning.

Hey everyone! I'm new on here...but i've been looking through and seen all the mods! Great Work! I have an 07 LTZ Summit White. The tails i got were form wood dash experts. They look just like the Escalades. The brake lights work a little different but over all still the same look! And the third light still works!
