My wife's 2004 Tahoe DRLs can be turned off by rotating the lite switch counter-clockwise and releasing. Not sure if that'll work on '01s.

I've got a similar situation with my '96 Suburban. Just the other day I noticed the daytime running lights weren't on and the dash indicator light was lit. I checked the parking brake and all the fuses related, according to the manual, to the DRL circuit. Am I missing something else, all other lights and auxillary are working fine. Any help.
