I have a 1997 Cav with about 112K miles.  I get the oil changed every three months religiously.  I notice that the oil change light comes on constantly whenever I am braking or my foot is not on the gas.   It is annoying.  I do not have a leak and do not need any oil.  Is this a nuisance problem? What gives?   Thanks for any help.

It's better to burn out than to fade away.

Thank you both for your responses.  I will try the sensor replacement first.
