I just purchased a 2004 Express 2500 153 wb 5.3l..I absolutly love the van the ride is great and it fits my needs to haul motorcycles perfectly,,,,Now....The van has 90000 miles on it....it runs great but it had a starting problem...when the dealer showed it to me it would'nt start (It was -5 degrees outside) they jumped it and it rand great for the testdrive....they replaced the battery for me, I took it home and the next day it wouldn't start..no click nothing...the volt meter showed the battery to be at a good voltage...I called a wrecker to tow it back to the dealer...The replaced the starter and everything has been fine untill today..the altenator went out...I replaced it myself.....My question is....Is their anybody onm this forum that can tell me if they have experianced any other problems with the same van...I really like the van even with the problems I have had so far..but I'm kinda wondering if I can expect any other common problems to occur...You know...the stuff a dealer mechanic or fleet guy would san "Yeah weve replaced a bunch of those"...Thanks

Drove a Express 2500 for 4 years ( 00 - 04 ) never replaced a starter or alternator ... battery yes. That's not to say they can't and won't fail.
