Wheel/Tire upgrade

eddielisenbey -> Wheel/Tire upgrade (2/22/2007 1:23:39 PM)

I'm looking to put some bigger wheels on my colorado.  Anyone know the specs for the wheels.  I know the bolt pattern is 6/5.5 inch but am unsure of the offset range that is necessary.  Also does anyone know how wide the tires can be without rubbing?  Thanks for your help in advance.

I dont know if you have 2 wheel drive or 4 but i have a 4 wheel drive and i put 18 x 8 wheels wrapped in 265/65 BFG TKO All Terrian tires and only had to turn torsion bars couple of turns to keep it from rubbing.  I left the mud flaps on that is what it was rubbing on if i would have taken them off they would have fit without any change in torsion bars.

Do you happen to know the offset on those 18s?

my 07 z71 4x4 is sittin on 33x11.5 BFG's on 16x8's but i have a 3" body lift id say you could fit 33's with offset torsion keys so they lvl out the front the whole 2-3" but that puts alot of wear on the front suspension.
