I own a 53 Ford and it currently has a 350 SB. The truck was bought with that in it and a 350 tranny. The tranny has recently been switched to a 700R4 AOD tranny and it runs really nice. Now my father and I want to switch the motor out for an LS1 because it doesnt weigh as much and it also puts out more power. I'm looking for someone who knows if the LS1 will hook directly up to the 700R4 because we don't really feel like buying a new tranny. Also, the front clip is out of a 69 Chevy 3/4 ton pick-up truck. Will it mount to that aswell? If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!!! If you would like to see the truck it's on my homepage. Any and all help would be appreciated! Thanks, Tom.
