I need a strong turbo 350, or cause of gas prices ;a 700 or 200 r. Even maybe a lock-up th350. Does anyone know about that lock-up, can it hold any power or is it 305's or smaller only. My elky has been rotting for like 3 yrs now. My dad can no longer help me due to health reasons.  Any opinions or suggestions.  I have a late model block that was fluxed shotpenned vatted and bored .060 over then superpolished soaked in oil and never used. I also have a 1 piece seal crank that didn't need turning but was superpolished. Aset of vortec rods with only 7000 mi on them. And a new set of forged flattop trw pistons and moly rings that are matched to the block. Pistons and rings still in thier boxes and I still have the original papers. I offer all this as possible trade bait. A Summit built trans that I think would be great is right at $800 shipped. Thats $200 to $300 more than I can do. Also a master street strip overhaul kit from B&M that I paid like $150 for. It's supposed to be the biggest baddest overhaul kit B&M has, unopened ,unused. Please any offers, suggestions,or thoughts would be welcome.
Thanks to everyone who read this post, Must save an Elky!!

FIRST OF ALL ARE YOU GOING TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE MAINLY ON THE STREET OR YOU STREET/STRIPPIN IT.
ALSO DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH HORSE POWER AND TORQUE THE MOTOR IS GOING TO HAVE... IF ITS OVER 500 HP AND 550 FT POUNDS OF TORQUE I WOULD STAY WITH THE TURBO 350, IF YOUR GOING TO SPRAY YOUR BLOCK STAY WITH THE 350.
IF ITS JUST GOING TO BE A CRUISER KEEP THE 700R4 OR 2004R. NOW THE ONLY DIFFERENCE WITH THE 700R4 AND THE 2004R IS THE LEGNTH, WHERE THE TRANS MOUNT IS LOCATED AND THE 1ST GEAR RATIO....700R4 HAS  A 3.06 1ST GEAR RATIO WHERE THE 2004R IS CLOSER TO THE REST OF IT GEARING

HOPE THAT HELPS
