Hello, this is My first post here. I have to do some repair on a chevy and My experience is mostly with fords, does anyone know the steps to remove valve covers and heads out of this chevys? Any pics? It started to tick and I thought it was a misfire but the tick is still there after some work, I used a stethoscope and it sounds like a tick from the valves. Thank You for any help.

Mine developed a tick this winter. `02 5.7L 122K mi. I switched it from the synthetic I was running for 20K mi ( when I bought it) to a 10w 40 conventional and it hasn`t ticked since.
