I was hoping someone may have had this problem and could shed some light on my situation. My truck is a... 1999 Silvarado 1500 5.3 Litre RWD Automatic. (its white but I doubt that matters.) it is approaching 90k miles and has started talking back to me in the form of an intermittent whine. It sounds like it is coming from the front of the engine. (Sounds almost like a turbo going bad.) I have changed both belts (serpintine and ac belt) alternator (had a charging problem so it was money well spent) both tensoner pulleys and the idler pulley. I lubed the clutch in the fan, shot a little crc in the bearing at the water pump, power steer pump, and i did my best to rebuild the ac clutch. Yet still the squeek. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas? Help is appreciated.
