A friend of mine owns a C5 and is considering undercoating the entire underside of the car. He wants to silence some of the road noise. I suggested to get away from the runflat tires and to turn up the radio. Are there some problems with undercoating a 2000 Corvette. will it hurt the resale of the car. He needs your opinion. Thanks.

IMO he'd be better off putting that sound deadening mat under the carpet. It's not very thick but I've heard that it works well. It's used also inside the doors to improve sound quality of radio/CD etc.

No, the resale will actually stay the same, if not go up. If it is done professionally, there will be no problems.
