I just replaced my 6 disc Bose system in my 2006 Trailblazer with a GM Nav NON-LUX unit P/N 15800000.  It had the VIN cleared before I purchased it.  Everything works great, except the chime is too loud.  Much louder than with the original radio.  I set the chime to "Normal" in the config screen, but it's still too load.  A local dealer told me that I can't upgrade the factory radio and there is nothing they can do for me except put the original radio back in.
Everything I've read says the swap is plug-n-play.  Can anyone suggest a solution?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
