Am seriously looking at a 1994 4WD 3/4ton Chev (probably not a Silverado, sorry). It has 118,000 miles; one carfax accident which does not elaborate on details and we cannot find any sign of it. Has a few blemishes (not bad for 8 years old), tow package, sliding rear window, AC, PW,PDL, 5.7 V8 (Is that simply a 350?), spray in bed liner. Everything works except tailgate. Drives out nice. Price is $5,500. It apparently has throttle body fuel injection because it looks like a carb but isn't. My question is: are these throttle body injections systems reliable?? Gas mileage...if I guess 12mpg, would I be close.

Other than usual mechanical checks, is there anything about that model year I should worry about?

Thanks,
Dennis
