Salutations SUV Swamis!

I just purchased a 2003 Ascender S Ext. 2WD Loaded and Imaculate. As I searched for owner forums for the Ascender, I became quickly disappointed with what I found - or should I say what I didn't find. And with the Ascender being in its last year or run, I don't see that situation getting any better.

The reason for my post is this....
Would someone enlighten me as to which the Ascender is more closely related: Envoy or Trail Blazer. I'm hopeful that it is enough like one of them that the respective forums will be useful during the ownership of my new vehicle.

I appreciate and understand that this is an TB forum and sincerely appreciate your patience and any info passed along regarding this question.

Actually this is the trailblazer forum (Chevy). Here is the way that I understand it. The Trailblazer/Envoy/Ascender are all the SAME truck. The only difference is in the vehicle badging and maybe some minor things. Beyond that there is no difference whatsoever. I hope that this answers your question.

Anyway, thanks for the reply and the info. I figured that the 3 of them were nearly the same except for styling, interior pkg's., etc. My dilemma is that there are no decent forums for the Ascender which is a disappointment because I enjoy participating in the owner forums related to the vehicles I own. I'm afraid if I ask any questions regarding my Ascender in this or and Envoy forum, I'm going to get flamed by people who are not aware that they indeed are the same vehicle and told where to go - if you know what I mean. :)

Well I do know what you mean and I would hope that you would not have any problems here. So I would feel free to post away. There is also TrailVoy.com which I have found to be VERY dedicated to the trucks. Check it out and see what you think.

The interior of the Ascender I saw looked very close to a copy of the GMC Envoy. Have a friend who owns an Ascender and he agrees.

Hey!

newbie here..borrow ur line a little dude

Whats about the taillights..seems so similar , possible to take Ascender or Envoy taillights to fit on the TB? if they all are from 02 (i got a 2002 LTZ 4,2 TB)

Can't help you there as the friend with the Ascender lives 800 miles away. Try parking close to one and just check it out.

Envoy and Ascender i dont think even exist in Sweden...or Europe?..so i got my self a problem ;)..i tryed by picture compare it ..maby i can see some small diffrents ..so i�m still very unsure..

well well...this isnt my thread so i wont disturb it :)
