I have an 02 2500HD 4x4 that is making a low pitched sqeaking in reverse....and very rarely in drive. Mostly makes the noise backing out of a parking spot or driveway. Any suggestions? It is getting progressively worse. Maybe a u-joint?

I dont know if this helps but i also have a 02 honda civic and was having the same problem. What it turned out to be was the rear breaks. The little tab that is to remind you to change the breaks was not squeaking in drive but only when backing up. I took a screw diver and bent the pin untill i replaced the rear pads.

Hope it helps, i duno.....
