am new here, so here goes. have a new driver, and am looking at a 97 cav with 2.2 and auto. no power accessories except brakes and steering. its a 2 door with alloy wheels and tinted windows. know it wont be a speed demon, but are they reliable cars, and what should i look out for? pretty fair mechanic, so maintenance is no problem. any help please? also notice that they have a serpentine belt driven waterpump, not a timing chain driven one like sunfire. does cav have timing chain or belt?
