5.7L breaking up @ 3k rpm??? - 1/30/2006 10:07:02 AM    94burbin   Posts: 7 Joined: 1/30/2006 Status: offline I have a 94 Suburban that has 146k miles and it just began to break up under heavy acceleration at around 3k rpm. I installed a new cap & rotor, wires & plugs. Not sure what else to try but I need to pull a heavy boat next week and I want to get this resolved. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
