Newbie here but was wondering what you guys think of the GM tubular running boards. Haven't seen many pictures besides the ones that GM has (which you can't tell a lot from). Has anyone installed these and have pics or has anyone seen them on the roads ...Thanks

My dealer has a set on display with some other GM accessories.  They are nice but I didn't want the chrome.  Waiting for Lund to make brackets and will get their Elliptical.  Had some on my TrailBlazer and liked them.  Wished they'd hurry up.

I prefer my stock ones.  Had chrome on my other vehicle and they always seemed dirty.  But that is just me

I think they just had chrome down the outside edge and maybe on the ends, the rest was black.

zhayes,

There is a topic where a member got a his 2nd tahoe, and he had them put on.  It is going to be an older thread.  I think it is titled Got my 2nd tahoe, or got my new tahoe.  SOmething like that.  It should be back many pages, but there are some pictures showing the steps.  I hope this helps.

Thanks Biglg, that was my Tahoe. As for as getting dirty they really don't because of the mud flaps. They are chrome oval tubes with black plastic steps and end caps. They are really made heavy duty and don't give any when you step on them. If I only had Biglg's Chrome Wheels to go with them it would be sweet. I saw a set of  20" Six Spoke Chevy Chrome Wheels and Tires the other day at the Dealership but couldn't handle the $2,300.00 installed.
