Hello all, The story begins last year when the truck just died. It ended up that the ignition coil wire shorted out. New wires/plugs and it seemed to run so-so with occasional missing. It has gotten bad now. I have new wires, plugs, cap and rotor and fuel filter. It seems to only be bad when it's cold or wet. On nice warm or dry days, it runs pretty good and after running for a while during the day and the engine compartment warms up, it runs well too. Any ideas where to go next. Thanks, John

OK, Lots of lookers but no input. Here's an update. It seems to idle great, but as soon as I touch the throttle, it starts to miss a bit. If I try to keep it right at the same speed (like around 55 on the hiway for instance) it will buck and kick and miss, but if I lay the wood to it at wide open throttle it works fine. I took a chance and dropped a new throttle posit sensor in because it seemed to be related to throttle position, but that didn't help. Anyone? Anyone? .......

I have 1999 2500 that had a similar problem just recently. I changed, wires, plugs and mass air flow sensor and none worked. Finally I figured out that it was the fuel pressure regulator.
