2007SilverLTZ,
Nice ride.  Try swapalease.com.  I sold one of my vehicles (Lease Assumption) in one week on that site.  Dude flew half way across country and then drove it home  Very easy to deal with Swapalease folks and I dont think it would take long at $471 month.  Good Luck

Yeah, I'm going to try swapalease as soon as I can get an idea of what my new ride will cost when the programs change tomorrow.  I have a couple GM PEP cars tagged right now.  I'm figuring $471 would go pretty quick too.

Swapalease has called me twice already because I had to fill out the info to figure out their costs.  I never submitted my stuff but they sure want me to list it.

I believe the swapalease fees were around $150 if I recall correctly.  Well worth it IMO.

Yeah, they are $99 for the second level so it's worth it.  I just need to find something cheaper that will suite my needs.  Right now there are no rebates on the GMT 900s but that will change.  I wouln't mind trying a Saturn Outlook but I need to tag a PEP car and they find decent pricing.  There are no decent rates in that line either.

I will just enjoy the Tahoe for now.

I am new to this forum, so forgive me if this is a stupid question - What is a PEP car?

Not many people know but a PEP car is one that GM employees only can purchase at an even greater discount based upon how many miles are on it.  They drive them for 3-4 months usually.  GMAC drivers have them for 6 months.  Mine was in service for 6 months and had 8400 miles or so on it when I got it.  The sticker was $51935 and my price was like $39,200 plus GMAC costs etc...  There we no incentives but my lease price is based off the almost $40,000 price making it $471 when it would have been like $600-650 for a new one at GMS pricing.  I just turned in a 2005 CTS-V I had for $325/mo, what a steal and great car.  Those were around $650/mo or so new at GMS pricing (employee pricing).

Additionally, GM employees can only get two PEP cars a year.  My dad who retired gets one and I get the other one.  It's a great program.  The car needs to be in my dad's name so he is nice to do that.  I of course pay for it.

Now you and others know all about the GM employee PEP program.  I think it stands for Product Evaluation Program or something.

Thats is a hell of a deal.  I figured you put a s%!t load of cash down to get that payment.  That explains it because the residual is based off MSRP.  Too bad I did not know about your deal before I purchased mine.  Thanks for the info on how the program works.  Makes me want to go work for GM.  I love so many of their vehicles now.  That 400 HP CTS must have been heaven.[:D]

2007SilverLTZ -> RE: Assume GMAC Lease of 2007 Tahoe LTZ for $471/mo (1/6/2007 10:39:50 PM)

I wish I worked for them too just so I could wheel and deal with cars more.  I could have made a little money here and there.
The V was great but it had it's issues.  I loved it and love my LTZ.  I tried to get rid of my V early so I could get a new V but if you can believe it no one wanted it at $325/mo until I had to turn down my new V.  You see, when these cars are available you have to take them and since I didn't have a taker for my V I couldn't afford to get another one.
My last 2004 Tahoe was loaded as well and was only $209/mo but GM gave me $3800 towards a new vehicle because my previous one was went to the dealer so much.  I deserved it but that made my 24 month payment a lot cheaper too.  I have had some great payments and it's even better that I work at Ford (non-Ford employee) and drive a GM.  I really do appreciate the deals I get.  I just replaced my V with a 2007 Grand Prix GT (Supercharged) that was nicely equipment for $268/mo for 27 mo and 15K/yr.  That's not bad.

Anyway, anyone want a loaded Tahoe.  I think I need to list it on swapalease tomorrow and I will be asking for a little extra money for the sweet deal someone will get.  I'm really want to replace it with a Yukon Denali but since there are no rebates that won't work so I need to see how things work out in the next couple of months.

I just checked the gmbuypower.com website and looks like rebates are ON.  Says up to $1750.  Hope this helps.
