I wonderif anyone can help?

The fan control shows increasing flow when I press up however teh fan doesn't appear to be running any faster.

Is it possible for the indicator to work and not actually refelct the condition or speed of the fan.

Which fuse do I have to check?

Regards,

N.

What year Suburban? Sometimes, if the cabin air filter is completely clogged, performance will suffer. Have you ever replaced this?

Hi,

Thanks for your response - it turned out to be the motor control unit that sits in the fan trunking next to the fan motor in the passenger side footwell.

However - I can check the cabin air filter also just in case for the future - where is it located?

2003 Suburban K1500 LT

Cheers,

I am having the issue with limited flow on the a/c. Does a 1999 Suburban have a cabin filter? If so, where is it located and how do you replace the cabin filter? I have never heard of this! My a/c unit is fully charged and cools okay. Due to limited blower air it freezes up after about 20 minutes.

Could something be clogged in the blower area? How do you take it apart to see?

Hi - I never had to find that out.

My problem was solved by replacing the blower control switch.

No one replied to my request for the llocation of the filter.

Cheers and happy motoring
