223 K , 95 2.2 Corsica. Changed plugs about a month ago, no oil on plugs. Last 1400 K in 3 days of driving, had to fill up oil twice(so approximately 8 Litres)

I have placed cardboard under the car, no spots while parked. Will get car to operating temperature and test for idle leak.

Looking for some advice on best place to start looking.

Thanks
Ray

Do you have any oil in your coolant?  If so you probably have a bad head gasket.  If not does your car smoke.  It should be blue if it is oil.  If your piston rings are bad you may be burning oil, while the plugs foul very slowly.

kcb37 thanks the note. The rad resevoir on this car is very shallow at the cap location, and the FULL COLD line on the deep end of the res lines up to tiny amount of coolant in the cap area. The coolant is still nice and green and I not certain how to confirm if there is oil in it.

The car does not smoke.

Thanks
Ray
