Basically, the tension pulley is the key to removing and installing the belt. It is located at the bottom of the engine and has a 9/16"(?) bolt on the front of it. Turn the bolt with a wrench (socket head won't fit) until the belt is loose. Honestly, it was hard to remove the belt. It is much easier with two people and having a diagram of the chevy beretta parts needed to remove and install belt will be very helpful... I would like to request the drawing to be attached in this thread so that any body who needs to change the serpentine belt on a 93 beretta will have the chance to get an information about it..
