Hey, I recently purchased a 1982 s10 which someone had thrown a 305 in. The 305 was baffed out so after we found another 1980 305 2 brl carb for a good deal (unfortunatly not a 350), and are in the process of puttin it in. I was just wondering if anybody had information of where all the hoses go, I think their all lines regarding emission control, but im not sure... Any information would help, thanks!

K, I did a bit of research and found out a bit more precise information, but I'm still stuck on 3 final things. I have a pic attached and on it there are 3 tubes, I labelled as "A" "B" "C".
- "A", I'm pretty sure is the vaccum from the intake to the brake booster, but I just want to confirm that, because I'm not sure if it should be branched off from the pcv valve to intake line.
- "B" and "C", I am clueless as to where these hook up.
Hopefully, someone out there is fimilar with this setup, again its a 1980 305 with a 2 barrell carb and I do not plan to keep the stock air filter, if that would possibly affect these lines. Thanks for any info!

K, well didn't get much help, but I managed to figure it out on my own. In case anybody encounters this in the future, the pcv valve attaches directly to the vaccumm off the intake (on the bottom of the carb), so there is no need to have any line "A". Line "B" is the fuel return line for the fuel pump. And line "C", I'm not too sure about, so im just going to block it and see where the brings me.

line C could goto a vaccume ball. not sure about the carb setup but a TBI unit i was working on reciently had a vaccume line to the ball in teh same spot as on your carb.
