I have a 2000 Cavalier and am searching for rhyme or reason on an issue. Around 4 months ago as I was driving down the road at 45mph or so, the car started shaking for about five seconds, then poof, the front of the car nosed down and I saw my wheel pass me up. After finally stopping, I recovered the wheel and was shocked that the center busted out. The lug pattern was still bolted to the car. Of course the dealer said I must have hit something. Well, two weeks ago, the other side did the same thing, but this time I was able to stop before it broke off. These are factory GM wheels and it looks like a defect. Has anyone ever heard or come across this problem, and any direction on how to contact the manufacture would be helpfull?
