07 tahoe. I want to put some sort of exhaust on the car. What is the deal if it is a leased car? can i have them weld up and cut the muffler? Id like something very inexpensive that will give the truck a nice rumble. Also do i have to add an intake if i do some sort of exhaust?

Lease is no diff for the most part then purchase, bring the vehicle back in as close to original condition as possible....if it wont void the Warr you can do it....Keep all the old pieces in case the dealership gives you a hard time.  and look for a bolt on cat back if you can easier..

no to the intake and that would void your warranty

Chev sells both a performance cat-back exhaust and a perf. intake system which don't kill the warranty.  I would check with the leasor before making any changes tho.

There is a big difference in lease worries and WARRANTY.  Don't worry about warranty issues if you do a cat back system or at least keep some cats and all sensors on your new system.

The lease worries can be covered if you just keep your stock system for a later re-install.  Depending on your aftermarket system this may not even be necessary but it's good insurance against hassles.
