I'm new here so I hope I'm doing it right. My son has a 90 berretta indy that won't start unless we step on the gas as we turn the key? Am wondering if anyone can help? Some of the things we did were check the vac. lines everyone seems fine, the intake, phelm assembly and all was taken apart and cleaned and checked. We did a pressure check on the fitting at the fuel rail and that came out ok. Have new plug wires and plugs in to. If we hold the gas pedal down a little bit it starts and stays running as soon as we let off the gas it stalls right away. sorry so long wanted to give a little history. One time it looked like either a little oil or anti-freeze came out the air intake tube where the air filter goes. Thank you in advance for any help at all.
