I'm having a debate with another car lover about whether or not the '86 Chevy Caprice Wagon was offered with a Olds 307 or the Chevy 307. All the information i've found has pointed towards the Olds version but i figured someone here might actually know for sure. thanx

during that era of caprice wagons they mostly ALL had olds 307. a few of them had the chevy 305...

The 1986-1990 Caprice WAGONS had the Olds 307. The 4-door and 2-doors used the Chevrolet 305. Well.... unless the 2-4 doors had the 4.3 liter V6.
