Run it until the fuel is almost gone. Do not empty it completely. Refill the tank with 93 octane, regardless of what you normally use. Run that out the same way. Relplace your fuel filter again. Be sure to check your plugs too. I would suggest replacing them. The dealer will tell you about 100,000 mile life. I have seen too many problems with plugs freezing up in the block. The do not put antiseize from the factory. Since your truck has been sitting. It would be advised to replace them. Stay with the factory AC Delco plugs. Your Chevrolet was preprogrammed by the detonation caracteristic of the plugs you have now.
