In the early morning when it is still cold outside(45 degrees or lower). After starting the car, there is a loud “whap whap whap” noise, sounding like it’s coming from the dashboard area. The engin shakes and bucks. This just started a few days ago. Once the the outside temperature gets into the mid 50's or above, the car starts/performs A-OK and purrs like a kitten. Thanks for any insight into this. Frank MAzur

I will try what you suggested. I will have to wait till the early AM as the car functions well when the temp. is above 55. THe car only has 35,000 miles on it and I have always changed oil every 3000 miles. Problem started suddenly a week ago. Thanks for your suggestions
