mcahan What kind of kit car is that? I see it's mid engine .....I would be real tempted to put an LT1 350 in that thing. The improved cooling system, hyd roller cam and fuel injection really make those things pretty sweet...I get 24 mpg from my Caprice (2.56 limited slip) and it will burn the tires off... i put one in a short step side p-up, lowered it, with 3.00 gears, we got 22 out of it...would burn the rear tires off and hit 140....with just a mildly reworked motor... yes the 4.3 would work very well, they are bassically a 350 with 2 cylinders removed...Peterson Publications has a good book on the v-6. it's kinda dated, but it has csome interesting info in it... PS. like the cutlass, that is very nice, as is the one above also.. Greg
