I am sorry if this has already been covered but I cant seem to find anything on it with the search. I have a 2003 suburban and when the miles to empty deal says less than a 100 miles it wont start. If I dont shut if off it will run until it runs out of gas. When I turn it over I can hear the fuel pump engauge and hear fuel getting moved around. I am at a complete loss and my mechanic has not heard of it either. The help would be greatly appreciated.

Just keep more fuel in it. My goodness, it has a 40 something gallon tank.

No it has around a 30 gallon tank and having to fill it up with 100 miles left cuts off around six to seven gallons making it as big as the tank in my compact truck. It just is a pain in the butt to fill this thing up every 250-300 miles.
