Any ideas on a speedometer that is stuck? It will show between 75 to the bottom of 110 at all times, even when shut off, and/or over night.

My spedometer is the same as yours... the only good thing is when you get stopped for speeding you can say you really didn't realize it and be able to show them you are doing 110mph .....stopped. Dealer quotes me $800.00 to repair. I'm just going to take my chances.... Skoot61

The problem is the small stepper motors in the instrument cluster that move all of the needles (Speedo, tach, gas, temp, etc.). If GM won't fix it for free, and you've exhausted all other avenues, you have some options without paying GM several hundreds of $. If you're handy with a soldering iron, you can fix the speedo for about $12, and the whole cluster for about $75, or you can have someone repair it all for you for about $150. The problem is the same with several 2003 to 2007 GM vehicles: most trucks and SUVs, and some cars. I've got a similar problem with my 01 gas gauge. Do anyone know if this problem goes back that far? My niece has a Yukon doing the exact same thing. Same year, same engine. Anyone? Thanks!

My 04 silverado done the same thing. Thankfully it started working again. I believe the stepper motor would be the place to start and while you've got the instrument cluster out you should replace all of them. My buddy has an 01 HD his tach stays pegged at 6 grand.
