if your 2007 tahoe didnt come with XM satellite radio is it still prewired for it? if so where are the antenna wires for the xm satellite radio. i would like to integrate my after market satellite radio into the OEM antenna wiring.

I thought XM was standard on 2007 Tahoes...

According to sales brochure which isn't 100%, only the LT3 and LTZ have XM standard.

Here is a case where the sale brochure is correct.

The Tahoe is not pre-wired for XM.
GM makes a kit Part # 17801150 (about $175) that includes the antenna and detailed instructions for the installation of the XM tuner and antenna.
When completed the unit works and looks just as if the vehicle came with XM factory installed.
Any good stereo installer can complete this, most dealers will charge $100 minimum.

I wonder where the Satellite receiver is located??

Which aftermarket xm radio do you plan on using?

i have a pioneer avic-z1 with the pionner gex10xmt which is the nav traffic pro set up.

FYI: Some systems have more than just the satellite antenna in the antenna. A perfect example is my Kenwood 6019 with G510 nav. Adding the XM antenna, the antenna seems to have all the needed XM radio stuff built in. It wouldn't be possible to use the factory XM antenna with it.

mine is a separate antenna which i know can be integrated into the OEM xm antenna...it just depends on it you have the OEM xm setup.
