i have a 4.3L VORTEC in an 06 silv. and i want a v8.. i cant get the power out of the v6 that i want or the same feel..any ideas.. would an old 305 (81chevy) or 350 (89chevy) bolt up?? i have access to both and was curious.. let me know or throw some advice my way please..

or maybe if i can find a 4.8L would that work?
