Is anyone here thinking about getting the new Traverse?  Anyone have new info on it besides what is on the Chevy web site?

From what I read so far, it sounds like it's a 7-8 passenger SUV like the Acadia/Outlook/Enclave.  I'm looking for info like pricing, exterior/interior colors, seat material, LATCH/tether setup.

My mom was looking at this video yesterday. She is kinda interested in it if it will pull a boat....

Looks nice - thanks for the link!  I want the one with the bench seat in the second row.  I don't know how much boats weigh, but I had read somewhere that the towing capacity is 4500 pounds.

Thats pushing it...I think our boat weighs 2000. About 2500 loaded down. Then again, we had a Colorado loaner vehicle while dads workvan was having some warranty work done. Its towing cap is 5000.

I'll see if I can find more specs on it. The brochures and stuff should make their way around in a few weeks. Its set to be released in May I think.

Here is a review - that is where I found the towing capacity.  I think it's speculation based on the other GM models, so we won't know for sure yet.

I'm also interested in crash test ratings, but I imagine that info will not be available for a while.

Good info. I'm starting to like the Traverse more than the Acadia!

The Traverse is AMAZING! Better styling than any of it''s cousins and way more easy to drive. The roofline is lower, the step-in height is perfect and it''s designed to drive like a car. I have driven both the FWD and AWD versions and love the AWD. The front wheels on the FWD model spun too much on the rainy road.

Pricing information has been released. We have two inbound. One FWD and one AWD.
