im putting a new 350 vteck block in my 1988 silverado and i was wondering what type of trans would work best.

would it be the vortec not the vteck? v teck is a honda engine anyway what year is the motor. is it stock or modified if its stock to lightly modified go with the 4L60E if it is highly modified go with a 4L80E or maybe a 700R4
