i have a 1968 chevelle transmission 3 speed manual im having trouble finding a new driveshaft for it because i cant id it how do i go about doing the identification of the transmission?

i'm not sure about your application but when i got a parts catalogue for chevy trucks it told you how to identify trannys and rear ends
