Hey guys,
I've got a 2007 Tahoe, and just finished hooking up an Electronic Brake Controller to it for towing...my friend has a 2005 Avalanche 1500, and I was wondering how that truck is setup as far as the trailer wiring harness is concerned? He is not mechanically inclined, so he doesn't even know what to look for. We will be using his truck to tow some sand toys next weekend, so I want to get him set up...
Can you tell me if he has a plug and play type harness under the dash, or is it just blunt cut wires like my new Tahoe? My brother's old 2002 Burb had a dedicated plug, which made it easy to hook up a controller...
Thanks for the help! Specs on his truck is 2005 Avy, 4x4, 1500, fully loaded...believe he has the towing package from factory...

all wiring is underneath your dash
power wire is prewired too, the only thing you need to do is connected to fuse box, powe wire is already there, it's just taped to the harness
