I have been debating on what type of sub woofer set up to put in to my HOE, without having to lose my third row seating? Do any of you fellow HOE riders have any suggestions, ideas or maybe even some pictures?

i would go to ur local car audio shop and have them build u a custom enclosure for a single 10" or 12" subwoofer depending on house much bass u want...see if they could build something into one of the rear panels so it doesnt stick out that far.

Maybe JL Audio has one that fits in the rear panel.

Remember that the right side has the rear A/C in it and if you have the power liftgate, it has the mechanism in the left side.

Check out the bose subwoofer thread. I just posted 2 pics of my 12" kicker box, custom made to fit behind the 3rd row.

I took out only one of my third row seats and installed a 15" sub. The amp is under the rear seat. I have only used the thrid row seat a few times. I'm thinking about taking out the other seat and adding another sub or a custom amp rack.

Can you post some pictures of your amp location? Just trying to get ideas as to the best place to hide an amp.

Heck, I don't have any subs behind the 3rd row and wished I had room for groceries.

Everytime we do groceries, we have to fold the 3rd row down. I dont mind doing this though..

Thanks. Also, can you post some pics of where you placed your amps? I am trying to find a good spot to hide one, so far the only place I know of is under the 2nd row seats, but I would need to switch to a smaller (physical size) amp.

ok there are the pictures sorry it took me so long. the amp is where the jack is its a small amp but it gives my two 12s all the power they need. trust me the trunk rattles like crazy it sometimes feels like everything is going to fall off. hope you like them please give me your opinions.

I do like the box!  It has a flat top so you can still stack things on it.

Where did you get the box?  Do you know the air space per sub?  I think I need one of those boxes!

1hot650r, the box looks nice. Where did you get it from? I would also like to know dimensions if you know them. Also what brand speakers and amp do you have. I may get a single one of those made. One 12 is way more base than what I need. My remote on my amp is always between 1/4 to 1/2 way turn. Anything over 1/2 turn is too much base for me. Thanks.

thanks for the comments guys. i had the box custom made at a stereo shop for a really good price it was only $350 with install. i don't know the dimensions i'm sorry about that if you want when i get a chance i'll go out and measure the box.
biglg, i don't know the air space per sub i'm sorry.

1hot,

Would you ask your shop for the build sheet?  Or see how much they would build and ship one for?  If you are talking to them ask them the cubic air space per sub!  Thanks again and I want one!

Thank you very much.  Was the 350 just for the box?

If you could get the build spec sheet that may be easier.  Shipping may be crazy.  SO If I could get the build info maybe my shop here would build it for me.
