I had the clear 3M protectant applied to my Tahoe, so now I don't need the hood protector anymore. It was only a couple of months old. This is a genuine GM part (part # 12499268) and is factory-painted to match any Silver Birch '07 Tahoe or Suburban. There are no scratches, no dings, no dents, and no scuffs. It is practically brand new! It's a low profile design and form-fitted to match the lines on the hood exactly.
