I have seen a different color when looking out the drivers side mirror, the passenger is clear.  The driver though has a bluish tint.  Anyone else?

Never noticed but it could be the electrochromic dimming feature if you have that.

It's the auto dimming feature.  I noticed it first on the '03 and now again on the '07.

Is that automatic, b/c that is all the time.  If it auto then it should do that when it is bright(headlights) not just daylight

There should be a button on your rearview mirror that turns this feature on and off.  The drivers side mirror and the rearview mirror should automatically dim to minimize glare from lights behind you after dark.  If it's doing it during the daytime maybe the sensor is blocked and isn't seeing the sunlight??

You didn't say what year you have.  As it ages, the auto-dimming feature will start failing and stay darker, until it is tinted all of the time.  On my 1998 Suburban the driver side mirror was solid green tint when I got the truck in 2003.  I replaced the miror with a non-dimming version (the auto-diming version was too expensive for me).  The passanger side mirror is starting to go now.

Was the passenger side mirror autodimming in '98?

It is due to the auto dimming feature.  Although it is not on during the day, the yellowish liquid in between the glass and the chrome on the mirror will give things a different tone or look even during the day.
