My son has a 91 s-10, the tail lights, brake lights, and guage lights will not work. The turn signals, back-up lights, emergency flashers and "dummy" lights in the dash do work. Anyone have any suggestions.

check the fuses, then check the wires, most likely a short or open wire somewhere.
check if someone may have crimped a tow connector, or if tow enabled check by that connection.
