I just finished doing a tune up on my 95 s-10 blazer and now it seems to have a hard time starting and once it does it idles very high around 3000, I tried to drive it and the transmission shifts are way off it wants to stay in third gear at 80 km and rev real high it will drop down a gear if i give it some more gas but when i let off on the throttle to cruise it down shifts and revs real high again

any help yoou  guys could give would be appreciated

Triple check your firing order,(The order of your plug wires) and make sure the rotor is on all the way.

SOUNDS LIKE A VACUUM PROBLEM. A VACUUM LEAK WILL CAUSE HIGH IDLE, FUNKY SHIFTING, AND DIFFICULT STARTING. DID YOU REMOVE ANY VACUUM LINES? OLDER AUTOMATICS USED TO HAVE A VACUUM MODULATOR THAT WAS FED FROM THE INTAKE MANIFOLD. I DONT KNOW IF THEY STILL HAVE THAT, BUT I WOULDNT BE SUPRISED.

What all did you do in the tune-up?

Check to see if your intake manifold is cracked. This could cause high idling and rapid gear shifting. I had the same problem on my 88 S-10. Also, check the vaccum lines as previously stated.
