remote start

ya i have a 07 silverado it came with factory remote start but the thing is when you remote start it none of the componets come on inside such as heat or ac whats the point in haveing this if none of these come i htought the point was to warm up your are cool down your vehicle before you get in it has any one had this problem and do i have to take it back to the factory or am istuck with this useless remote start

Try turning on the heat or AC before shutting off the truck, and then try the remote start

Look for a professional mechanic to check for it. Engine wont start unless remote for door lock is used.  Upon looking for recommended and best remote starter, features such as hood switch, anti-grind, wire to tachometer and soldered connections should be considered.
