I have an 89 K1500 Z-71, and these trucks have an oil filter adapter on them that turns the filter sideways for clearance from the front drivetrain. My question is, can i put an oil filter relocation kit on this so that the filter is easier to change and will sit upright? I found one at summitracing.com that is made by Trans-Dapt Performance part number 1150 any help with this would be great, thanks

Yes. Those are amazing!!! I would also get the oil cooler to go with it. It's not that much work and very benificial.
